Señor Mark Aldrich of The Gad About Town, was kind enough to nominate me for a Liebster Award. What poor Mark didn’t know was that I had decided not to do award related posts anymore. Why? Let’s Take a Break and Talk About Pharrell Williams’ Giant Hat for a Moment
I know this sounds like old news, because I’m sure you’ve all heard and seen famous rapper Pharrell Williams wearing this ridiculously big hat at the Grammys this year. However recently he became a “repeat offender” and wore a grey version of his ranger hat to the 86th Academy Awards Nominees Class Photo (during the 86th Academy Awards Nominee Luncheon). Seeing that he obviously loves this type of hat and that people making fun of it didn’t stop him from wearing it a second time, I thought I’d dig a little deeper to see if there was more to the story. This is too cute! I just had to share it. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (The Oscars) shared this on their Facebook page with the caption “Francis Ford Coppola in 1974 during the production of “The Godfather: Part II” (a film he would win three Oscars for – Best Picture, Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Director), with his daughter Sofia. She would later win an Oscar herself for Best Original Screenplay for “Lost in Translation”. #TBT“. Continue reading

This is incredible! Once again I’m very humbled to announce that this very blog has been nominated for the Blog of the Year Award 2013. I’m even more stoked that once more it’s my blogger amigo Thomas J. Ford of Music & Movies Cafe who nominated me. If you recall he nominated me my very first award ever, The Sunshine Award, not so long ago. This time, since there are no rules against it (that I know of) I’m going to nominate him as well and not just because he thought of me twice, but because I actually truly enjoy reading his blog and he seems like a really nice guy.
