1 Year a Blogger. The (Not So) Extraordinary True Story of an Amateur Film Blogger.
Time to get sentimental. I try not to blog too much about personal, non-movie related stuff, because let’s face it: Who cares? Plus, it’s also very self-indulgent and possibly annoying. Señor Mark Aldrich of The Gad About Town, was kind enough to nominate me for a Liebster Award. What poor Mark didn’t know was that I had decided not to do award related posts anymore. Why? Because LV (Literary Vittles, not Louis Vuitton), had written a very convincing piece about why having a blogroll is more interesting. Get Me Some Lobster: I’ve Just Been Nominated for a Liebster Award
This is incredible. I was just nominated for a Liebster Award. If I didn’t know better I would think that Anna at Film Grimoire is in love with me or something. This is the third time she has nominated me for an award. I would say that I’m speechless, but I’m not. I have a lot to say, but first of all: Thank you, Anna! For those of you who don’t know who Anna is: She is a fellow film fanatic, who writes thoughtful reviews and always answers people’s comments, which I think is really cool. This is incredible! Once again I’m very humbled to announce that this very blog has been nominated for the Blog of the Year Award 2013. I’m even more stoked that once more it’s my blogger amigo Thomas J. Ford of Music & Movies Cafe who nominated me.
