The 66th edition of the Cannes Film Festival has come to an end. Here are the winners.

Palme d’Or (Golden Palm):

Blue Is The Warmest Colour (La vie d’Adèle) directed by Abdellatif Kechiche

Grand Prix (Runner Up):
Inside Llweyn Davis directed by Ethan & Joel Coen

Best Director:
Amat Escalante for Heli

Jury Prize:

Best Screenplay:
Zhangke Jia for A Touch Of Sin

Camera d’Or (First-Time Filmmaker):
Ilo Ilo directed by Anthony Chen

Best Lead Actor:
Bruce Dern in Alexander Payne’s Nebraska

Best Leading Actress:
Bérénice Bejo in Asghar Farhadi’s The Past

Un Certain Regard

Un Certain Regard Prize:
The Missing Picture directed by Aida Begic

Special Jury Prize:
Omar directed by Hany Abu-Assad

Best Director:
Alain Guiraudie for Stranger by the Lake

A Certain Talent Prize:
Ensemble cast in The Golden Cage directed by Diego Quemada-Diez

Avenir Prize:
Fruitvale Station directed by Ryan Coogler

I look forward to checking all of those out.
I am especially pleased with Bruce Dern winning best actor for Alexander Payne’s new film Nebraska.

It’s not like I expected Sofia Coppola to win Un Certain Regard, I knew she had little to no chances, but it still would have been nice to see her getting some love. Hopefully the Academy will give her some gold.
